The University of Queensland HealthFusion Team Challenge (UQ HFTC) was held on the 27th August 2010 at the UQ School of Pharmacy, located within the Pharmacy Australia Centre for Excellence (PACE), Woolloongabba.
The event was the culmination of several weeks of preparation that saw a record seven teams compete to present their management plan at the finals in August. Three teams of 4-6 senior year students participated in the event. The professions involved in the 2010 UQ HFTC were Audiology, Dietetics, Dentistry, Exercise Science, Medicine, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Psychology and Speech Pathology.
The winning team was Team HEART pictured below with Mr Simon Finn, Member for Yeerongpilly. From Left: Thanh Huynh (Pharmacy), Lucy Crocombe (Exercise Physiology), Matthew Mills (Medicine), Mr Simon Finn, Laura Page (Occupational Therapy) and Kiera Buchanan (Psychology).
Congratulations to team HEART for making it through to represent The University of Queensland at the Natinoal HealthFusion Team Challenge (Oz HFTC).
